Thanksgiving Weekend

Some members from the club are planning to be out at Truckhaven Hills near the Salton Sea over Thanksgiving weekend and anyone interested is welcome to join us. If you have not been out there it is a great place to wheel and is suitable for both highly modified and stock trucks. It is also great place to bring motorcylces or quads. Most of us usually get out there the Friday after Thanksgiving and stay through Sunday but some people may get there earlier to secure a camping spot. Let me know if you are interested and I will keep you posted our plans. I hope to see some of you out there!

If you want to join us I can give you my cell phone number so that you can find us a litte easier when you get out there. I will be out there Friday morning but at least one club member that I know will be there on Wednesday. Update

Here is an update stolen from Rich's post on the 80's site:

Update on Truckhaven...Jason Puma from SoCal will be out there starting Wed. and will have a large Coast Guard flag on a tall pole set up so that people can find him. He will be set up with his family in nice new motorhome and a bright yellow FJ40 (plus all the other assorted toys). I'll be going out on Friday if anyone wants to hook up.
