I want to sincerely thank everyone involved with Cruise Moab for a great time. There is no other event quite like Cruise Moab and my perma-grin is still in place. Thanks to Dave Connors of Wasatch Cruisers for a seat (and plenty of entertainment) on Thursday, and Mark Hawley of Metal Tech Cage and Cascade Cruisers for the thrill ride on Friday. Also a big thanks to Perry Loughridge for shooting photography all week for Trails. Looking forward to publishing it.

Tons of fun....

Todd,

Anytime you need a seat let me know. I'm glad you enjoy the day. It was a good omen for the rest of my weekend. After Ryan broke his leaf he and Adam Tolman spent the next two days in my truck. i've lost my voice from laughing so hard. I'm glad we didn't scare you off. The Spike could have been a very very long day if we didn't get along.

 to Rising Sun. The larger the event gets the more organized it becomes. Not sure how that happens but nice to see.

Look at you raising that glass of wine.... ;)

You all are a gas. It was a great day. Now I'm shutting up so I don't blow my own article.

Great to see you and catch up after a few years. If Hatfield didn't have a little get together I would have never seen you :) Looking forward to the Coverage as always :)

I saw you in motion a time or two. And you walked right by me on Saturday morning! :crybaby:

Agreed. Love the truck, too.

thanks again also guys, seriously the best CM I have ever had.. I was worried the campsite difference migth suck but it didn't at all. Bummer I somehow missed you TJK!

I must say after attending 5 Cruise Moabs this was probably the best. The weather was perfect. I have had memorable times at each one, Kane Creek with Erik and Chef in 2000, Pritchett with TAC in 2005, Fins in 2000 with the 60 guys, Golden Spike with the 80s in 2005, Hell's Revenge every time. But this year I just had a blast. I think I needed the trip more this year than in past years.

Wed. I did Rusty Nail by myself. I didn't start out that way but ended up that way after the first obstacle. What sucks is I have no photos from it. I have some video from a video camera sitting on a rock. It isn't great but it documented the trip. I like that trail a lot! I will be back!

Thurs. Barry lead Pritchett. Awesome to be the token wagon with a bunch of buggies and hardcore 40s and perform well. 3 hours! That has to be a record for that trail. And we didn't skimp. Every obstacle was hit. I guess I almost rolled end over end. But it wasn't scary.

Friday Dave, Darren, Ryan, and Adam kept us entertained on Steel Bender. It wasn't a great trail in my opinion but the company was excellent.

Friday night Dave and Darren made Moab Rim at night interesting. I'm still upset that I lost a brake caliper bolt right below the Z turn and that ended our attempt on the Rim at night. That DS front wheel launch while staring at a moonlite river through a crack in the slab we were crossing was quite possiblely my most nervous wheeling moment. I was disappointed in my camera's performance. On the next night run I'm taking FILM!

Saturday with Chris H. on Metal Masher. That may be a tame trail but it has some neat obstacles. I wish I could have made it up Widow Maker. Rock Chucker was fun! And just sitting on the edge of the cliff at lunch was nice. It was the only time I sat down the whole week. Just sitting and staring at the beauty was very peaceful.

As always I really appreciate the folks who put this all together. They work their butts off so that we can have a great time. THANKS to ALL at Rising Sun!

Great meeting you Eric. I dig the shirt too!

Todd, I saw you deep in a group discussion in the Bar H parking lot, but I should have butted in and introduced myself. I was the blue 40 parked next to Marks 80. My wife got a couple of really nice pictures this week that I'm gonna send you.

I was deep into something, alright.... ;)

Sure, I'd love to see the photos. The article that Cruise Moab asked me to write is pretty specific to our trip though. I might find a use for them though.
