Hope you can see how well this worked. Its little things like this that get ou home. No more spun diff plugs with a plate under the diff for my scraping pleasure.

I did the same thing to my 4runner axles. I figured a little "skid" for the drain plug ring would be a good thing.

Looks great and I still think it is a great idea.

It looks great after you cleaned it up and painted it… welds would have looked prettier if I weren’t welding upside down, but it had good penetration, it will last a long time. And now you can scrape it as much as you want..
