I posted this in the thread in the chit chat section, but thought I would tell you guys direct.......

Green Country Cruisers and LSLC go way back, from Deano Kothe and I cruising around Bonham one evening in Yeller, talking about how cool it would be to have a Land Cruiser club, at that time there was none in Texas or Oklahoma, a couple of years later, GCC & LSLC were both granted TLCA charter the same time, we had our first organized trail run with GCC, and Thurs nite Lance gave us a check for $200 towards the Charity.
A finer bunch of guys I've never seen...on both sides of the River

Butch,
I would like to thank you for setting an example for us as well. Not only was Haven House a recipient, but the discussion then turned to what could be done in the Tulsa area and two other charities where selected to receive donations from the club. While I am still fairly new to the Land Cruiser community, GCC and very new to LSLC I am proud to associated myself with such outstanding people. After 16 years in law enforcement it is easy to only see the down-side of humanity. These clubs and the people in them surely help me see past that.

Thank You!

Butch,

Mike summed it up pretty well. For me, the quality of our cruisers is pretty impressive- but nothing compared to their drivers. BTW, we're having our annual Poker Run in Cass, Arkansas Jan 22. We'd welcome the site of some cruisers with Texas plates! Keep up the good work.
