A big thank you to Rick and Nat who drove up to my house yesterday to help me install the seat track extenders and look over my 80. They did way more work then I did in my woefully inadequate garage and I really appreciate it.

So whats the question about seatbelts?

just glad to help:cheers: on a side note on our way back home Rick and I had some good laughs at all the cars spun out on the side of the highway must have been atleast 40 of them:grinpimp:

Dave, I think that the seat belts for all years are the same. It's common for the clock springs in the reel to get lazy and people have taken them apart and put a few turns in them to get them to retract again. Doing this would probably take some length off the belt as the spring would tighten up sooner as you pulled the belt out.

DOH! I had the seatbelt part in my 80 forum crosspost, wierd. Anyway...

What's odd is that the seat belt still doesn't fit me and I wonder if there is something wrong with it since I fit fine in Rick's truck. Were the 93 belts that much shorter?

My dside belt is really chewed up anyway so I'd like to replace it, just wonder if I should source a longer one or if maybe the chewed edges are impeding it's full extension.
