OK, I got the bondo work done as good as I can do on the rockers.

Anybody know of a process to re-create the texture that was applied to the rockers on 60 series from the factory? It's almost like really bad orange peel. I'd like to re-create that, mainly to hide the bad bondo work.

I've got a rattle can that is paint code matched to my truck on the way, so a texture idea that would work well with that would be really helpful. I could get a spray gun and a pint of paint if I need to.

I got some of that rustolem (brush on) for a project here recently and I was impressed and yea it had a feathered texture to it(for the lack of a better term). Wallmart 10 bucks a can:)

3M Rocker Schutz is whatcha want. Any auto paint jobber, or in my case local Carquest, should have it. Get the undercoat gun (Schutz gun) to spray it.

Hel yes. Makes me remember the old days of mud tech when most any question you asked got you an "AHHH HA" answer.

Thanks

Alot of the rocker guard sold is also tintable with the colour of paint you are using, because rocker guard can be chipped or scratched.
