Have been fortunate to own several LC's in the past....couple of 100's, 80, 40, FJC. Like a goof ball I sold my '06 that I had built up a while back and have started shopping for another 100 series.

Fast forward to today. Too cold to do much bike riding and we were just goofing off. I knew the local dealer had a certified '11 with low miles. Wife and I took it out for a spin. Wow! What a great driving truck! Plenty of power. Luxurious. And wow...it is big!

Seems like a fantastic truck, once you get past the price. I wonder how long I could leave it unmolested if we buy one!

How was the power and the 6 speed? I think this might be next on my list. I usually buy at 100k miles. I have not seen one 200 on autotrader or ebay at 100k yet. As far as mods. I would say tires, 2 inch lift, sliders and remove 3rd row seats. I noticed, no diff drop on slees site for the 200.

Where are you living now? I am ready to go mountain biking here in Raleigh but it has been to wet and to cold.

The engine/tranny were fantastic. Quite a change going to the '06 100, this is an even bigger jump IMHO.

We are in KC now. Talk about cold and snow!

You are up early. Are you going 200? Or going to build another 100?

Always up early!

I am open to either. Actually contacted the guy that I sold the '06 to about buying it back. We chatted a bit and then he went radio silent.

I had not really thought about a 200 until the drive yesterday. Biggest differences: power, size, and of course....$$$$

Same here. 6 am wake up alarm every day from a 6 month old yellow lab.

I am thinking 200 now. Probably a couple of years away.

They are awesome - you won't regret it. Very capable off road still...that hasn't been sacrificed even though they are smooth and comfortable driving

I just drove my recently acquired LX570 2,000+ miles from TX to CO and back. Fully loaded with 5 people and enough gear for 10 (thanks dear). The LX never flinched at the 40 mph headwinds, mountain passes, mud, snow, cold, etc. - it was awesome. It definitely has the smoothest ride of anything that I have driven - and that says a lot. Super quiet, never flinches at a truck traveling in the opposite direction. I could go on. It just ate the miles with absolute comfort.

I will put it through some off-roading in CO this summer. Optimistic that it will be even better than my former 100.

Looks like I will be driving a '10 LX570!

Came down to the Lexus (from a Lexus dealer) and a '11 LC at a Toyota dealer. Same mileage. Much better warranty through Lexus.

Ended up the Lexus dealer wanted to sell their vehicle a good bit more than the Toyota dealer.

Welcome aboard - you'll be happy with either truck

What did you get the LX570 for. Their values seem to be holding up well after the initial depreciation.

pictures? details? colors? that is awesome. LX570 so much better on the inside than the LC (up to 2013). And I think there are lots more of them to choose from.

Any mountain bike trails there?

My business partner got the LX and I got the LC. Both 11's. I traded mine in for a 13 LC.

The LX does ride better idkw. The creature comfort difference in the 13 LC and 11 LX is interior leather stitching. Different color wood. LX has powered lift gate and rear seats. Other than that I can't tell a difference. Except the ride. Which could be just the difference in tires but it feels softer if that makes any sense.

The 20 inch wheels/tires on the LX are actually rougher riding, but the LX has an air suspension that makes it much smoother on the road.

Ah.

It is a noticeable difference.

Thanks.

I hope to have time to get to the dealership today.

It is a '10, Maroon and grey, low miles, factory certified.

Amazing how many bells and whistles. Some of them I couldn't care less about, some are nice. My wife was sold on the automatic rear closing hatch (che is vertically challenged!)

Crappy parking lot pic...

Sure is a heck of a nice vehicle!
