I may grow older but I refuse to grow up!
I drove an auto and a stick yesterday.. I liked the stick. The six speed is pretty cool. I don't know much about the full-time 4WD though. Very roomy inside. Lots of power. It is pretty quiet. The salesman wouldn't let me tale it off road at all. I drove my 74 FJ 40 to the dealer to look at the new FJ. It sure drew a lot of attention. Made me feel good about owning a classic. I don't think I like the all plastic interior on the new FJ. I'm sure it cleans up nice, but I think it makes it look too much like a city bus. I would like carpet. I bet you can get carpet kits for them or at least some nice inserts. For the money ($26K) the stick shift I drove was a pretty enticing deal. I would like it in the blue. Both I drove yesterday were piss yellow.
