Greetings. I am looking for advice on a battery tender setup for my dual battery system. Should I isolate the house and start batteries and put separate chargers on both or can I just put the charger on the start battery and let them float in series? I can isolate easily and am using a Redarc controller. Any insight is appreciated. Thx

If the batteries are in series, you have a 24v system and would need a 24v charger/tender.
If they are parallel then your current tender is fine.

If they are series then simply isolate and do one at a time.

Thanks. They are in parallel but was just checking about amperage drops, controller interference, etc. thanks again.
