Temporary steering wheel off center

strange thing happened today. I've had my BP51 on for three weeks and everything has been great. Today left the gas station and my steering wheel was about 20 degrees off center. I got home, turned the truck off then back on and it's back to being centered. Has this happened to anyone? Anyone know what happened?

If it fixed itself after a restart, my initial suspicion would be the variable steering gear system
