They temporarily closed the trail as planned without even reviewing the counter arguments made.....for the entire year. Rumor has it that UWHARRIE is next....

Many are donating the money they would have spent at Tellico to the fund to file suite and fight this absurdity....

Little clarification -

Tellico is under a temporary, emergency closure. The doors are not shut and locked until 2011 with the key thrown away.

Southern Four Wheel Drive Association (Rescue Tellico), Blue Ribbon Coalition, United Four Wheel Drive Association, contractors and volunteers are working very hard to have Tellico reopened ASAP.

Keep your eyes open for updates. Things are happening.

the possibility that it may in fact be temporary and some things are happening in background to work on this and get movement prior to GSMTR.....or that was the implied comments I got.
