Techstream to Program a New Door Control Module

Hi all,

My 2011 is having a door lock issue. I'm pretty sure it's the main lock control unit because the driver's door and rear door unlock fine, but every other door refuses to unlock. Locking works fine. Further pointing to it being a central issue is that it took about a year to fully fail. Fiddling with the central locks would snap it out of it for a while. It was always every door, which leads me to believe it's not a failing actuator in one of the doors.

I can buy a replacement control computer for fairly little, but obviously it would need to be paired to the keys. My assumption is I can do this in Techstream, can anybody confirm?

When I have issues like that I run it by our local lock smith who also codes new FOBs.

Problem is if I install the new central lock computer, odds are the truck won't start because it won't recognize a key.

That is correct, so when I did my last one I drove to the lock smith and installed it there. My other option was have them to a house call, which was an option but more $$.
