TC rear companion shaft nut

Ah I tried to search the hundreds of threads for the socket size on the rear tc case output. It's the one on the companion shaft I need.

I am in the process of putting a new seal in there to temporarily hold some oil in there. I have some movement in the bearing but am not interesting in rebuilding the case yet. SO a seal it is for now. I'll see how long it takes to puke again.

So if anyone knows the socket size that would be great thanks... I am guessing it is over 30mm.

32 mm. The lock nut on the input shaft is 36mm. If you have movement at the bearing, it's past done. Good luck!

It's a tiny bit of movement..... LOL Want to nurse it for a while. I already have too many things to do prior to driving it to Moab.

It's been leaking for awhile I think.
