1PZ engine & transmission for sale
Toyota 1PZ 5 cylinder 3.5L diesel engine and 5-speed manual transmission.
Came out of a 1991 PZJ70 short wheelbase LandCruiser that had around 320,000km on the clock. Absolutely brilliant engine, was running like a dream in the shorty. Almost identical to the 1HZ, just one cylinder less. Perfect for a project to drop into a Bundera, short wheel base cruiser or 40 series etc.
Unfortunately the car was stolen and the engine removed by the thief to sell. We then saw the engine for sale on Marketplace the next day, and long story short, the thieves were caught and the engine was recovered by police and released back to us. Sadly the body was burnt out before police could find it
Engine has been sitting at our place for a while. Sad to part with it as we were hoping to use it for a project, but circumstances have changed and need to move it along.
Pickup preferred in Hobart, TAS but can look into freight for serious interstate or international buyers. Sold as is.
