Well since Toyota decided to buy my Tacoma back, I needed a new DD and tow rig for my 88 4 Runner. So here it is

2005 4 Runner with the 4.0 six cylinder with class III tow hitch. Should work out very well for daily driving and the occasional towing to Rausch Creek.

Once I take delivery of it, no problem, but it looks like a standard hitch, from behind, but also has a 7 pin hookup. The ride is so nice compared to the Tacoma :D

sweet. glad it all worked out for you!

Yep looks like the light version if I remember correctly and based on those pictures. The wheeling 4 Runner isn't too heavy, will also be taking to top off to shed some weight, but the 05 4 Runner shouldn't have much issue flat towing it, nor would I think yours would.

I have a buddy with a 06 double cab tacoma, same engine and tow package as we have and he just towed a 84 4 Runner on a dolly with no problem, he plans to flat tow as well.

Took delivery of the 4Runner this afternoon, man it is nice, but I think it sits a little too low. May be keeping an eye out for some Hoes and rear coils :D

Hoes? you a :grinpimp:?
