Tacoma, No Motor, No Trans? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have a low miles/300+ hp, Mercedes V8 with matching trans that I want to drop in a 2016+ Tacoma Double-Cab. Any idea where I might source a late model Tacoma with no engine/trans? Dealership, Craigslist, Wheeler Dealer, etc?

i think thats going to be tough to find, the truck is still going to hold a lot of value so finding one that was totaled might be tough. maybe look for a flood truck that you can pull the drive train out of but then its a question of how bad everything else is like the harnesses, ecus and all the interior bits

I would keep my eyes on ebay. The truck might not be local though. Anything that new will probably get fixed. That swap sounds like a cool idea.

Sad but true, with Ida been seeing reports of totaled flood Taco's. Start checking the auctions I suppose.
