I'm building a Dana 60 rear for a Tacoma... Anybody know if the Tacoma master cylinder will push rear Dana 60 stock drum brakes ??? I'm pretty sure it will...but not sure enough.:D I would like to avoid the Ford Torino / Exploder rear disc brake conversion process for this one... if possible...

Well goodness what a heck of a question. I hate it when I throw up a thread and nobody replies so I try to get any 0 reply threads a moving.
I don't recall getting into brake system pressures in automotive training, of course I drank a lot of beer back then and might have missed the odd thing or 20 :D
I think they just mentioned to stick to OEM parts and don't screw with things. ha-ha
Here is a link I found with some basic theories. i'm thinking you have to find out the design pressures and rates of all the components you want to use and see if you can make a system from them.

There must be someone with experience doing this work as I think of my uncles mid 30's street rod with a custom chassis from California that he put a 383 stroker small block chevy, 700R4 and a ford 9 inch into. 4 wheel disc brakes and somebody had to sort out what type of master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve to use, line size, etc, etc.
not sure if that helps but it might start somebody thinking
