It did the same thing today but only took about 30 sec. Anyone know how to fix or what is going on? Thanks Matt

On my 60 there is the connector for the tach by the ignition coil. I would try and unplug all the connector and reseat them. See if any are loose. Chances are though it is a bad connection since it start working all the sudden and the mechanical part is pretty simple and reads a voltage.
