I have a Fj 62 and just yesterday when i started my engine my tachometer did not work, about two minutes later it came on. It did the same thing today but only took about 30 sec. Anyone know how to fix or what is going on? Thanks Matt

Sounds like a loose connect and maybe when the engine warms up the connector it makes contact.

On my 60 there is the connector for the tach by the ignition coil. I would try and unplug all the connector and reseat them. See if any are loose.

Chances are though it is a bad connection since it start working all the sudden and the mechanical part is pretty simple and reads a voltage.
