I wear many "heads" as I have many vehicles.
I had my alternator in my HDJ-80 rewired to 100A. Truck runs well, performs well under load (lights, HVAC, etc) and the idle was struck up a bit for more volts. However, when the directionals are on the tach jumps, and when the brakes are applied, it drops to 0 rpms.
