LOL on the bright side, I mentioned what happened at the meeting to my wife and said that I'll need to attend more meetings and events and she was all for it--so that right there is worth my time investments. She's even onboard for weekend trips to wichita and st louis if a "meeting" were to materialize.

Sweet!!!! You got a good woman there!

I'll see about getting one of the big conference rooms here at the hospital for next year. Plenty of parking and if someone gets hurt we've got a trauma center.

Sweet, then we really could do "Cruiser Jousting".

Awesome!

:D

Great to put faces with names, and look forward to the upcoming events.

Thanks all, Jason

How about a summary for those not in attendence.

New officers, did we change the dues, vendor participants, 2006 expenses, income, etc.

Gary

Gary, I was elected prez because you weren't able to attend and I didn't duck under the table fast enough. all other current positions stayed the same. We discussed a merchandising postion in which Gary Hill was appointed. Dues remain unchanged. We also voted on updated by-laws. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

chris will have to comment on the rest but it sounds like the club had a great year $$wise.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I will get my $$ sent in ASAP.

Hey it was nice to meet some new people (what am I talking about, pretty much everyone is new to me) and see a very few people I already knew.

This is from the OFFICIAL LEE'S SUMMIT CHAPTER. ha

You were nearly nominated for president, but we didn't necessarily feel right about you not being present. We probably shouldn't be so nice. Do you want me to reserve a calendar as well?

Yes to the calender and I will get you some Gin for the running boards. I would have struggled to be a president from so far away, but I seem to struggle everyday anyway.:)

I'm a "joiner" by nature..

Is this an "invite only club" or a "gotta have a sponsor club" or can anyone join?

What are the dues?

What does the club do (I got the wheeling, drinking, wrenching bit)

Is there a website for more info or what?

I'm a newbie to FJs and a newbie to wrenching. Actually, I don't think "newbie" quite gets to just how new I am. But I want to learn. I want to do.

What's the deal?

joe dan,
no invite needed...i think you just have to own a toyota....or a samuri in craigs case!...says he has a 40...i ain't seen it yet!...dues costs 10.00 i think and you must join tlca...send it to chris rech..so far this has been our "website"...whilst the new one is under construction....we are all addicted to these trucks....some more than others....many great people in this club...all over a 5 state region....get started on the truck!...have questions?...post em up here.....you will get plenty of help!
