Don’t you hate that feeling when you wake up on a Sunday morning/afternoon and think to yourself that the night before is a little fuzzy—and that you may have done something you might regret or something happened to you that will come back to bite you…?? I know it happened to me a lot in college…Anybody else feel that this morning besides me???
Seriously, I need to thank everyone for going out on a limb allowing me fill Erik’s spot. I’m really looking forward to the next few years as tac prez. Please bear with me as I get up to speed on things. I really didn’t intend to pursue this position when the upcoming vacancy was first announced but I knew that I wanted to be more involved with the group. After spending the last year sort of in the background and getting a feel for the organization I’ve realized that tlca and especially tac is definitely something that my family and I want to be apart of. Wheeling, camping, wrenching, friendships, and family bonding have always been part of my life and tac has all of this to offer and then some. I hope to carry on Erik’s momentum and make this something we all can enjoy…
I realize most or at least many of you wouldn’t be able to tell me from Adam on the street so I will do my best to change that. And please forgive me if I forget or call you by the wrong name. I’ve always struggled to put names with faces and when you add in a mud alias and/or trail rig I fear at some point I will make myself look like the southbound end of a northbound ….er…donkey…

If you want to learn more about me feel free to call or email—also you can check out
my intro post from last year…not much had changed save for adding a year to Hannah’s age.
I need to give a special thanks to osagecruiser for my nominatiaon. Thanks a lot bud, I’ll get you back one of these days.

I was down to the shop today…did you see those donuts out in the alley? Oh, and I’m pretty sure the clutch on the 45 is toast now..
Also I need to thank Mike and Debi for that cute little pink bike. That was a big hit with Hannah when I got home last night. I think I spent the better part of 6 hours today in the basement holding the handle bar and seat as she tooled around. She’s a quick learner and managed to master (maybe I shouldn’t go that far) peddling and steering. Now if she figured out how to do both of those at the same time she would be set. ;p Over and over I coached, “Peddle…peddle…turn…peddle…turn…turn…TURN…Watch out!!” She didn’t have any accidents but I noticed she got a kick out of running over other toys (Yes I think she’ll grow up to be a wheeler

).
