As I have been elected for the Central/ Mountain Independent Rep, we as a club need to find a new delegate. We had a T.L.C.A. meeting tonight, and while Nick and I were both there, we had nobody to speak for or vote for Lone Star Land Cruisers/DFW.
Strange for us not to have a voice. That's all I wanted to say.You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming! :)

Justin, if you would, post up a list of what they are responsible for. Thanks.

pretty easy, really. call in to the board meetings. be the voice of the club, and vote when a vote comes up. lots of times, it means just listening while stuff gets discussed, though it's always more fun to be part of the discussion.
calls last as little as 30 minutes, up to sometimes getting near 2 hours, like last night. usually, about an hour, though. as the association goes through some tough times, more important than ever to make sure we stay involved.
ideally, the new rep will report back to the club any items of interest, as well as discuss some of the important issues to get general membership feedback. i never did, because the one time i asked if i needed to discuss tlca business during a meeting, i was told it wasn't necessary. however, there is a ton of important stuff going on, and since it'll be somebody that hasn't been involved previously, i think it would be good to have that communication, so that the club can have a stronger voice than ever at these meetings.
hit me up with any other questions.

FYI...

The TLCA conference calls occur at 8pm on the last Thursday of the month.
