I think I have answered my own question, but wanted the mud collective to chime in. Saw this answered two ways today in my searching, some said yes, some said no.
What I was interested in, was the upgrade to the largest Tundra brakes. I already have 16" Sequoia Alloy rims, so clearance of a larger caliber would not be an issue. This seems to be a very easy upgrade on the Tacomas and Gen3 4runners, however they have the newer coil over IFS.
The T-100 retained the older torsion bar settup, until the Tundra came out even though the Tacoma was the new design. So, are calibers and rotors interchangable. Some boards had posts that said, yes, go for it, but then another post I read said the mounting ears are spaced just slightly different for the caliber. Also, the newer trucks have the rotor on the outside of the hub, under the rim, whereas the T-100 is behind the hub, like Cruisers, if I'm recalling correctly.
Any insight on this. I tow over some pretty good passes, and while I plan on adding trailer brakes to my old popup camper, I would still like some heavier brakes on the truck too.
