Those rope shackles look awesome! What are you asking for one of them?

Johnny, price for one is $30 shipped. $55 shipped for 2. These are for ones with a WLL of 8000 pounds and an end to end length of about 8"-9".

I can make them from smaller line and extrapolate the test numbers to the smaller size if you're interested. IIRC making one from 3/8 carries a failure point of around 29,000 and a WLL of 7000. 5/16 will have a failure point of 21,000 and a WLL of 5000.

I purchased 100 ft of Amsteel Blue winch extension in 3/8 inch from Kris, and two Amsteel Rope shackles.
Kris was excellent to deal with, and I received the rope and shackles very quickly after placing my order, and I live in Calgary.
The rope, and shackles look great. I am going to use the rope as an extension to the existing winch line. I have not used them yet, but likely will get myself stuck in the next while, and will report on the rope at that time.
Although the shackles are not rated for use with a snap strap (recovery rope) I likely will give this a go also, because the rope shackles will not be a projectile.

I would highly recommend Kris for providing these kind of products.

I received my 100ft of 5/16 Amsteel with 10ft of abrasion guard and a metal tube thimble...
