12 large for a 60 series is way steep for me. Hell, I'm in no way, shape or form in the market for it...just thought it was cool. Plus, Jerry may want to complete his Cruiser collection and scratch his diesel itch all at once :)

Speaking of Jerry........ where you headed w/ a boat in tow on a wednesday am???? do i smell vacation?
or do you have a twin in Winston?

Soon my 80 will be diesel powered. Soon.........

Just trying to figure out if an NV4500 will fit in a 80's tranny tunnel without too much mods done to it.

I'd be up for a 55 before a 60, even though it is diesel powered...

Must be my twin. I was busy this morning getting my garage in better order to make room for a new tool...

Oh snap, you bought a bender. Your family is going to be sick of looking at me :)

The guy who did the conversion and I have been friends since he moved out from Indiana 10 or so years ago. He does great work and did the majority of work on my conversion. See my sig link.

Yeah, he said you stopped by. Hope they got you fixed up. I appreciate you taking business there. He said they were slammed and he didn't get a chance to check out your rig, but was tickled to get some ONSC traffic!!

If you're bending up a set, I'd love to help you out as I need some new fenders on mine!

I just picked up ~80 ft of 1.75"/.12 DOM tubing from Shep and made my first "template" bend. I can tell you that I'll be getting an upper body workout using this thing, that's for sure...

Jerry, you might want to bend up some cheap exhaust tube to make sure you get that thing figured out. Sure hate to waste any DOM! Then again, you may be a bit smarter than me and not need any "practice". What's DOM now, about 4.50/ft? 80ft is a $hit load, you building a cage?

What man/model bender did you get? Pics.... you of all people should have some pictures up by now :P

So Jerry, interested in making me a custom exhaust system??:grinpimp:

You are about the 3rd person to suggest that, so, clearly I'm not smarter. I guess I'm hoping that amount of bends I'm making for these are relatively simple, I'm hoping it won't turn out that I'm burning this stuff at $4/ft. I asked Shep for a quote on HREW and when he called back, I guess I missed the DOM part of the quote. Oh well...

I've calculated that I'll need ~30 ft for the tube fenders and got some extra (since I had to order it) thinking Greg was planning on building his rear swing out tire carrier. I have a set of rough plans for one on my FJC in mind also so I thought it not a bad idea to get a bit extra than come up short.

I have the JD squared model 32 with 1.75", 5.5 CLR, 180 degree dies, no hydro, only arm powered...
