Just got the sweetest deal at discount tire on a set of MT's I ordered. Since they dropped my TLC last week from lift without a tire on it they gave me a discount I couldn't refuse. I ordered another set of those Yoko Geo M/T+ and they were $945 but when I went to pay for them he said I could have them for $550 if I would forgive them for dropping my rig. Tucson just got better and the beagles vet bill just got cheaper. :bounce:

Which Discount did you go to? An old family friend is the manager of the store on Tanque Verde. It's good to have connections :)

geolander MT?? i have always liked those tires just wish they made bigger than 35",, how do they hold up??

This is my second set and they now make the MT+ which the compound suppose to last longer and a few other details, but I love these tires. I was hooked in Japan because every time you 4X4 over there you have to go thru mud at some point and they always made it. I waited inline numerous times waiting for BFG M/T’s to get out of the mud pits. They are very road friendly compared to the old model. They sure do look a lot more aggressive than my last set. I ran 35’s before but that was on my Turbo diesel overseas and I just don’t think this weenie six shooter can do it like some 33’s. You’re more than welcome to take it for a spin if we meet up at a meet or wherever.

BWAHAHA!!! now thats funny, but a bit true as well.
i know all about the mud in japan, but i really liked driving on the beach, well avaoiding the coral, but its still a beach.

Sounds like you were in Okinawa and not mainland. Is Okinawa still Japan? I lived there for a little while to.

Rhino, Kyle, why were you guys in the land of the Rising Sun? Navy? I was Navy, USS Harry W. Hill DD986 1991-1993. I never went to Japan but my wife's family is in the south island. ***uoka (sp?).

***uoka rocks, that was one of my favorite places. Only went once but it was so much fun. You must go some time with your wife. I was working in Japan for the DOD as a civilian and my wife was working with the medical clinic(I would mainly ride my bike in the mountains while the dummy sat at the desk). It was a good experience but it was time to raise the little one here in the states so the older village people can come visit. We were suppose to go to Germany but we chose good ole America instead. I missed her a lot, high gas prices, unemployment rising and over priced cooky cutter homes. In the end I'd rather be in the good ole US. Can't wait to put faces with these nicks...
