I've tried to find this before asking but haven't been able to.. I'm doing a 3" lift in the front and a 2" inch in the rear. Do I need longer sway bar end links, and if so, does anyone have a link to buy them? Thanks in advance!

No idea in terms of a 3” and 2” lift, never seen that combo and I’m not an expert. But lots of people are and if you google “gx470 extended sway bars links” there are many answers and products. There are many adjustable options as well, this is a common solution.
I was able to use pro forged 4Runner links on my gx, very inexpensive and they have been great, but my lift is not even 2” and I never drive over big rocks;)

Search for GX470 sway bar end links

You need adjustable end links to level the sway bars due to your level lift 3” in the front and 2” in the rear

Although. I would only do 2.4” in the front max

Apparently 3rd gen T4R links are longer than our links and will work in this application. I have not verified this, just saw someone else on this forum mention it. I DIY'd a set of rear links with some all thread to make them adjustable. Otherwise, all of the aftermarket extended links are quite expensive (around $200).

This is what I use, mine are pro forged brand and i bet if you search this forum you can find posts with info. But no idea if they work with 3” lifts. I originally bought superpro adjustable links for big money, they were rubbish. The pro forged were cheap in comparison but have worked better.

Edit: I found my receipt, Proforged 113-10144 is the model number I bought.

Good to know I remembered that right :). Looks like this could be the 555 part number, which is available at NAPA:

The DIYs I made were based on a Moog end link, which was a mistake. The grease boots immediately blew out. I may replace them with the 3rd gen 555 links in the future - and honestly they would have been cheaper than DIY'ing a pair as I had to but some long threaded couplers and allthread.

By the way, you only need to extend the rear sway bar end links. If you lift the rear 2”, you need half that (so 1” extension) to the rear.

The front sway bar end links don’t need to be extended and shouldn’t be extended with lifts up to 2.5”. In fact, the taller the lift in the front, the shorter front end link needs to be because the sway bar moves up closer to the top of the end link.

I used to run the 3rd gen 4R proforged rear sway bar end links but then it decided to upgrade to more beefy and adjustable ones for no reason! Lol

cool info, did not know this. I run some $25 front links from rockauto, they are beefy looking and they have a zerk for greasing. No clue if they’re good, but I haven’t had issues and I grease them whenever I grease my spc uca.
