"Please to who is in charge of this, give the community my contribution. I have lurked and found many posts helpful. I will make a full write up if desired, but this has already been a PIA@%*#%*@# to post what I can to give back...." ] delete prior to posting....
I took it upon myself to rebuild a set of sway-a-way 3'' lift suspension for my 2007 FJ Cruiser. I took 4+ years to complete the process, so forgive my tardiness in posting, but the results have been a marked improvement over the basic OME suspension that my FJ came with.
My Fj came with a pretty good OME 3" set with my heavy front ARE bumper and winch
I bought a used [ sway-a-way] kit, the previous owner was a rich fuc^&%^& who swapped it for a long travel Icon setup.
In the process of replacing all the spherical bearings, I found them all to be rusted out along with the clips that held them in place.
I spent 3+ months using an alum acid to remove the clips holding these bearings in place one at a time
I have provided these .stl files to be 3D printed in 95 shore A TPU to help seal in grease to make the spherical bearings last the life of the vehicle, or at least make them much more
rebuild-able than I had to deal with.
"plz approve my ability to post so I can provide these files more readily available to the community" - delete from posting
