So after cruddz drove my 100, he confirmed that it rides very rough compared to jeffs. I believe i have the HD OME (silver) coils in the back, but i was wondering if i could put in a softer coil with a spacer or something to maintain ride height? I remember someone offering me their stock coils, but i cant remember who. Also, would there like to be anyone to come check out my suspension setup, as the PO did not tell me what was on it.
After some of these trail runs, and lifting tires way too easily, i think i would like to change suspension, but maintain my lift and tires.
Any help is appreciated.

There are so many differences between the two trucks. The OME springs sucked on the 2000, but are just fine on the '04. Don't know why. My 2000 has always been susceptible to harsh ride symptoms that the '04 just doesn't demonstrate. Not sure if it's history, or some worn out bushing I just haven't yet replaced or what. The '04 has over 200K now and it is just TIGHT. The 2000 has been ridden hard and put away wet a lot more than the newer rig though. I sure as h#!! wish I knew why. Obviously, the simplicity of a single unit (OME) is appealing over spring+spacer, but it's all about what works. I now have airbags in both for towing.
