Hello all.
I've searched around the forum and internet without much luck on this.

What's the difference between the slee medium and heavy lift for the 100 series 2.5"? I don't see a difference in the front, only in the back. Am i wrong?

Thanks.

The difference would be the spring rate with the heavy being a stiffer spring for additional load (i.e. bumpers, racks, gear, etc). Medium would be a more forgiving ride but would compress more with additional sustained weight. I believe the torsion bars are the same though

The torsion bars are the same in all kits, preload compensates for load. Rear springs need to be matched as best as possible to load conditions.
Talk to Christo and read up here on Mud before you invest.

Ok good, I'm just thinking about the torsion bars because when the dealer installed them, they set it a little high.. Which may be a good excuse to put on a front bumper.

I'm not sure OEM Toyota Tbars will work well with winch bumper, others can comment on their experience. Most change to a OME or TJM Tbar with a lift if they're adding weight up front.

Oh no, I put the Slee 2.5" medium load kit on my truck last week. I wouldn't consider the front bumper if I didn't... recipe for failure
