Basically, I'm looking for an efficient suspension kit for constant offroading in Dubai, and a high level of flexibility and tire clearance while dunes climbing.
I found that there are several manufacturers providing suspension kits for the 200 series land cruiser, such as ( OME, ICON, King shocks, TJM Golden shocks, Radflo, Iron Man, Tough Dog, and EFS). More to mention, regarding front and rear aftermarket arms, are those arms effective while been used in desert, or they are just for rock crawling?
Could anyone please help me choosing the right suspension kit that will suite my offroading needs.

Stick with a company that deals in offroad racing. Your perfect setup may be a mix of parts:

ICON coilovers in the front
Total Chaos upper control arms
OME heavy springs in the back
Bilstein rear shocks
offset wheels
fender trimming

Thank you for your reply

Regarding front and rear springs, should I choose the medium load or the heavy load ?( keep in mind that my car is stock- no added weight). Also for choosing lift hight, if I picked 2.5" for the front coils, the rear springs should be the same?, last question if you dont mind :D, should I stick with the OEM front shocks? or is there an advice?

Thanks again for your help

Medium load for the springs in the front (if you are not adding any weight).
As far as the front and rear lift go, 2.5" for the front, but you will only find 1-2" for the rear. The back is already higher.

Sounds to me like you need get Fox Shocks.......can't beat them for any kind of offroading.......especially high speed desert use. You can tune fox shocks to meet your needs....which is great, but the valving is usually already great from the factory.

The Tundra and 200 have very similar front ends so the coilovers for the Tundra should work fine and the rear shouldn't be to difficult to figure out either.

Theres a guy in Australia that is really good with fox shocks, i think his user on MUD is either assassinoffroad or ATS4x4, not sure which one....he's usually in the 100 section.

thanks

pman, and chimyz, thank you very much for your reply.

I went to our local ARB dealer and I bought the new OME sport shocks + medium load 2.5" springs, one word to describe it ( ITS AMAZING ).

Is it installed? I would love to know how the sport shocks work compared to the regular OME shocks. Probably just bigger with more oil for keeping it cooler during operation.

Congrats and enjoy. Most aftermarket shocks are a pure upgrade for an already awesome truck.

Cheers!

yes

Yeah I've installed them, to be honest they worked fine till now, regarding the regular OME I cant make a comparison cuz I didnt try them on my URJ200, I've tried them on my old patrol TB48 2006 they were awful I used them for less than a year, but I'm sure that they differ from the one's that used for the URJ200.
Next test will be tough: fully equipped trailer ( camping stuff i.e, tent + generator ) from home to the camping spot in the desert. :grinpimp:
Thanks again for your reply;).

pics pics pics....

Almajed , I too installed oldman emu I was planning to install just the springs but realised that the OME spring will not fit in the stock front strut and ended intalling the SPORT STRUT
For the spring I got front 100KG: 25mm LIFT (2701)
and for rear MEDIUM LOAD 20mm LIFT (2722)
And my car is stock no metal bumpers or longrange fueltank.
But the lift looks like more than the quoted 25mm but i didnt measure.
But like you said the car feels better

pics???
