Hi all! And before you make a query, my best wishes for this new year! Congratulations!

My question: Lately I'm seeing my HDJ100 (diesel, year 2000-240000 km and normal suspension without hydraulic), abuts the rear suspension rubber in the heel that comes in rear coils. And it is not traveling with a lot of weight, 5 people plus some luggage and nothing on the roof.

Do you know any practical way to see if the levels of suspension has my 100 is good? As one can verify?. Is it a solution to buy original rear coils or buy a kit be better OME or other that you recommend? The same doubts the front torsion bars.

Do any of you have tried the air-lift? (Silicone air bag that goes inside the spirals). In my previous discovery had placed the very satisfactory result, but it turns out to be placed in the coils of the land cruiser the manufacturer says to get the cue butt or upper gum, which besides is a guide to the top of the spiral ...

Sorry for my bad English ...

Thank you very much.

Greetings.

Springs wear. Yours have worn a bit. You can install a pair of helper air bags in about an afternoon and use them to complement the springs to restore the ride height. I have a set of these on an AHC equiped LX with 400 000 km.

You could simply replace your existing springs, but the air bags allow you to level the vehicle by increasing the air pressure when it is heavily loaded, this is nice if you tow a trailer or carry a lot of gear.

Your English is fine.

TRACKMUR: thank you very much for your reply.

You have some experience with OME coils?

Greetings.

Interesting about the air bags with the AHC, does that work well?
Basko, where in Patagonia are you? Post some pics of your truck!

There are a few on this board that have these airbags installed on their AHC equipped vehicles. From what I hear, it's a perfect compliment, and helps keep the pressure in the AHC system down a bit. One would think with lower pressure, it should help in curbing premature wear on the system.

Dear Jon. I live in northern Patagonia, Argentina, on the Rio Negro province, about 300 km. from the Andes and 400 km. from the Atlantic Ocean.

How I can do to upload pictures?

thanks
