Surf

Anyone??

Been a long time. Not good at ALL, but surfed San Diego, San Fran, couple Hawaii islands and the *burr* Oregon coast.

Long story cut down, I finally got a couple custom boards from a shaper out of SF. Had a great time years back (2004) and they were stolen. I ended getting another 7'10 funboard recently.

Coast "surf & dune trip" anybody?

Have a few boards, my wetsuit is somewhat pliable- kids have been wanting to go. Let me recover from some summer expenses.. My mom has property in Crescent City we can camp on- 2miles from the beach. (Unless it sells) It has several beaches (Pebble, Point St. George and South Beach) with different exposures, not my fave but if you don't want to rack up a ton of miles its the best option. The next best is Clifford Kamph park with camping on the beach..
Must find some kiddie wetsuits..

Ooooh, sounds fun. I suck at surfing, but I love it.

I would love to try to meet up with folks on the coast later in late summer/early fall. Anybody interested in driving up north (instead of south. ) on the Oregon Coast to surf and wheel? I originally thought about trying to surf near Lincoln/Pacific City, then hit the dunes just north of there, and then on to Cruisin' the Woods in TSF in late September. That would be rad. I may not be able to make it work this year...

Or you could do Pacific City and spend a day at Sand Lake wheelin the dunes. They are pretty close together.
