On the web page it says it will be the last time it will be put on by these people. Not that it still will not happen by people just meeting up there it also sad.

The logistics of planning an event that size is staggering, even more so that it is public land so it makes it that much harder. Jim has been doing this by himself of 10 years now, ask Marshall about Gsmtr or Brian and I on the small events that we plan how we would like to plan an event with over 500 rigs there. He said the next years one is starting to get planned before the current one even happens.
The only thing I see is TLCA taking over but then there will be rules and more rules as well as $$$. SnT is a free event except for any swag and camping passes you buy on your own. But to get the parks service to reserve a part of the land is amazing.

I'm trying to talk my dad into taking his tundra down there just to get some inspriation and have a fun vacation.

Al, when you flying out and how long you staying? Looking into seeing if I can make this happen some way. When is SEMA again? You going to that this year?

No no time or money for SEMA....

fly in late thursday night or butt crack early friday and go straight there, back to my Mom's house sunday and fly out monday to come back home
