superwinch S5000

I bought a car hauler trailer the other day and it had a superwinch S5000 on it. I asked the previous owner if it still worked. He said someone borrowed it and now it dont work. Is there a way to test the motor and the solenoids to rule out one or the other. It has 2 solenoids on it and the motor only has 2 posts on it.

Hi all,

You should be able to by-pass the solenoids to see if the motor will work/drum will rotate.

OK after testing the motor, I know it works. so now my question is....is there a war to test the solenoids?
