Sunroof wind noise

Mine started this last week. It was out of alignment due to debris getting caught in the track system. I removed the glass and drive gear. Adjusted the cables. Put it all back and checked. 5 times 
. Anyway got it to seal up and be quiet. However I have disconnected the drive gear. The track system got pretty beat up from lack of service and the motor struggles to slide open the glass. Re+re time with cleaning and greasing approx 4 hrs. I didn't know what I was doing. Headliner can stay in place.
