So I noticed the weather strip around the sunroof is just tore up. The damage almost looks like the previous owner drove through the front of a liquor store and all the glass shards cut it all up. I know it’s old but....pics attached. Anyways, any assistance with a part number, instructions, tutorial, cruise over and I can pay in beer, would be extremely helpful. I did a search and read a bit about the sunroof rattle but not specifically the weather strip around the sunroof. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

From what I researched, the weatherstripping isn’t sold separately. Only comes with the glass. Not 100% but would be really happy if I were wrong!

Is it a dealer only part? Where’d you find it?

Any update on this my sunroof seal is getting pretty warped. I plan on lubing the seal with the hopes of rejuvenating it. I believe it could be causing a lot of the issues with my sunroof rattle.

I plan to use this product I have heard good things about it

No update on this end. To be honest I haven’t done much more research. I think the lack of responses comes from the fact that we probably have to replace the whole assembly. Hope the lube works for you. But for mines, I think there’s just too many bits and pieces missing.
