I ain't got herpes no more.
Another beautiful afternoon and night in the Mojave Desert. Managed to convince the little lady to let me leave for the night, and headed out to the El Paso Mountains to test out my new Car-Top-Tent, as well as my new Rossi .22LR/20ga. rifle/shotgun. The weather was a gorgeous 84ºF, with not a hint of wind.
The road to camp:
Got to our camp by 17:00, had some time to shoot, hike, and drink beer before the sun came down and the tri-tip hit the grill. The tent worked great, the tri-tip was delicious, and for a few short hours, all was well in the world.
