Summerhaven Octoberfest?

Wondering if some one can tell me if the Oktoberfest (summer haven) is a true story. When does it start? All I find on the internet is that it was burned to the ground a couple of years ago. I am looking for beer in the mountains. If you can help I would appreciate it. Want to take the fire road up. Thanks

By the way all that crap talking about Sonoran was just that. He sent me his phone number when I first joined this sight when I mentioned my PS problem and that my HOA wouldn't let me work on my rig. Called him up the other night and he welcomed me the same evening and helped me out until midnight until it was complete. My point don't believe all the hype on message boards and get off your PC and wheel some time with fellow enthusiasts.

Kyle, the Octoberfest in Summer Haven happens. All I know for sure is I'm going next weekend camping and going to it. It's pretty tame though. Most of the festivities are at the ski lift area.
Btw, My offer still stands for using my house for doing work too. Thats cool that Sonoranfun was able to help out. Remember I live across from Pima CC.

Since people don't seem to take me right on this board I wanted to make it clear the Patrols are the bomb... If I didn't have so much into cruisers I would buy one myself. There was a guy down the road with one just sitting in his front yard and I would drive by every day forcing myself to keep driving cause I knew if I stopped I'd have another project... Very cool rides! How are they offroading, parts and things? The 40s are hard enough to get what you need for I would guess the Patrol would be 100 times worse..

Oh and this may be stupid but is it a Nissan? I thought they came out in 84 but I guess I'm wrong, I never thought of that...

Patrols are unique, but for me, the parts availability thing is the deal killer for a wheeler.

Since there is no American Nissan dealership that acknowlages(DUMB PARTS PEOPLE) that they exsist, I would at least a thousand times harder.

Yes, it is a Nissan. I am not sure about the whole Datsun/Nissan change over.

Ripley won't mind the hijack, he's cool like that! How many people do have Patrols? I always just figure the aftermarket support for parts is zero so I respect the guys that have them big time. If I'd known about them prior to a year ago I may have gotten one at some point. Yeah the Datsun/Nissan thing is what I was wondering about... That's odd, it says Nissan on it someplace?
