I don't plan to, it is not perfect has some minor rust on the body but it is very clean and original other than that. It has a 4 inch lift and runs 35s in the summer, I also hve the original steelies with BFG 31s, added power steering and AC other than that original everything. She will be placed in the garage for the winter, thanks for the heads up
Spotted a dark green / black 80 series (I think) with a tan roof cruising up the North Leverett road here in Leverett on Saturday. Was that anybody here? My 40 was parked in the driveway while I was mowing our lawn.
I saw two FJ40s in Freeport, Maine, last Friday. One appeared to be a late-'70s model with new-style jump seats, camo paint, and no top. Not long after that, I saw a red 40 while I was getting on the highway. This one looked like an early -'70s model with full hardtop. Somebody was hauling it on a trailer.
I've gone months without seeing another 40 on the road, so I was a bit surprised to see two with minutes of each other.

Made it out to the last car show at Rosner's Race Cars in Gill, MA last night. Huge crowd, and there was one other FJ-40 there, a 72, owned by a guy in Ashfield, MA.
And I spotted this 60 series in the shop when I got gas this morning.

Awesome! I'm trying to get the guy that has the black 40 series I posted a couple weeks ago, and another guy who's relocated from CO with a great 40, to check out the club. And I'm hoping to get to some more club events in the coming year, too.
Tan 60 series with what looked like a great paint job heading east on the Mass Pike this afternoon, around 2:30 PM, just outside of Newton. Anyone here?
