my friend's 95 mitsu montero 5 speed's shifter is stuck. plain and simple. it's wedged somewhere that isn't a gear. when it's running, you can let the clutch out and nothing happens, so you know it is not in gear, but the shifter will not budge at all. we pulled everything off, even the shifter itself, so you can see down in the tranny, but still can't see what is stuck where. any idea on how to correct this or what could have gone bad? it is something internal, but what? any tips are appreciated!! thanks!!
