I just recently bought from amazon a headlamp from streamlight. It's the one they call double clutch.

I've used many other brands and styles in the past. But since this one kicks the ass of everything I've used in the past, I had to make a thread.

This thing looks cool just sitting there, but it's actually functional.

It has a flood and spot setting, you just turn the round head over way or another. Do it twice the same way and it changes from high to low. Once you shut it off, later when you go back it remembers the previous high/low setting you had it on last.

The best part is the battery pack is rechargeable and can be removed and 3 triple A's can be used. So no down time.

The battery pack is brighter and longer lasting than the triple A's but no big deal.

This thing is super bright and isn't too heavy or bulky.

Plus it fits over my beanie so that's a plus.

It seems to be rugged. I've been using it full time for 2 weeks now and have no complaints.

At first the light began to flicker, but I realized that's what it does when the battery needs to be recharged.

I recommend this light to anyone who likes high quality tools that perform better than the competition.

I'm not affiliated with this company just passing on some good information.

I have like 10 of the septors. Streamlight makes solid products. Thanks for the review.
