I have a Bucket Boss Pro GateMouth that I carry tow strap, tools and other gear but wondering what others store their spare fluids like ATF, engine oil etc in. I ask because I'm tired of the cat urine like smell of ATF wafting thru the cab. Amsoil ATF smells real bad.

I should add I don't have drawers and while I wish I did I likely won't be adding them for a while.

Can't help too much cause I keep everything in my drawers. I carry UNOPENED bottles of the following. Fluids are cheap enough that in the rare occasion I need something, I add the opened one to my garage stash and get a new bottle for the truck.

(2) 1 qt motor oil
(2) 1qt gear oil
(1) brake fluid
(1) power steering (ATF) fluid
(1) brake fluid
(1) can wheel bearing grease. (open)

Not having drawers I would personally recommend a pelican 1450 or 1500 case or similar. Odor problem solved as well as spill containment.

I start with unopened containers. If I open one away from home, it goes back into a gallon ziplock bag. Everything lives in a rubber-maid storage container.

Ammo cans, they are 100% hermetic. They also double as a container if you need to drain fluids on the trail for a repair.

I throw a few quarts of oil, some ATF, brake fluid and some shop rags in one and keep it in the back. I also keep a couple of pairs of disposable nitril gloves in there. I should add some disposable funnels.

The ammo can is a great idea.

Many thanks.
