Stolen 1985 EFI 4x4 (Carson City)

Hello,

On 4-20 someone stole my 1985 toyota 4X4 EFI 5 speed std cab. It was suggested to me to post in this regional forum. If you see my truck please contact the police. Also if someone is trying to sell parts. The truck was Blue w/ black roll bar. It had all OME Dakar Springs and shocks. I didn't have comprehensive on it so if its gone I'm up a creek. I know this is for cruisers, but rest assured I have an 80 series. Thanks.

I will keep my eyes peeled. I am sure you have let the police know!? I have a freind that wheels and is a deputy here in town; will let him know. Also you might want to go around to the 4X4 shops with a picture to let them know your lookin. Sorry but this really blows. I couldn't imagine if my baby got ripped off.

There is a pawn shop on Glendale that had a truck that LOOKED JUST LIKE THIS in the lot!!!!

Update:

I saw parts for my truck on craigslist the other day so printed the ads and gave them to the police. They apparently setup a "sting" fake buy for the stuff and arrested the guy (wish I was there to see who stole my truck get cuffed and stuffed). My truck was towed and I had to pay the tow yard $675 to get it back. I looks to be all there - wheels and tires but the axle is off and the engine is torn apart. Thanks to all those who were looking out.

Get a quote from a shop and head on down to the court house.

He may never pay you, but if he has any other assets you can get...or any future monetary awards he may RX.
