Hi, I've been trying to find the specs on the stock wheels for my 2004 2.7L 4x4. Theyre 16x7" wheels. What is the offset/backspacing?

Also, will 265/75/16 tires fit stock?

Thanks

I think they are 4.5" backspacing, and as for the fitment of tires... It depends on the condition of the current suspension. If its sagging already, then no... but if its still perky and new, i would think so.

Unsure of the offset but 265/75R16's will fit. Should be about a 31-32 inch tire. I ran LT235/85R16's on my 96 runner.(32 inch skinny tires) It makes the 2.7 work harder but unless you are driving highways speeds 65+ or long uphills and head winds you should be fine.

I have read my 00 4runner has 4.5 back spacing, so I cant' see your taco being much different. and 265-75-16 will fit also no problem. hope that helps

The exact backspacing is 4.625". I measured this on the 99-00 4Runner 5-star rims, 3-split spoke rims, and the Tacoma TRD star rims.

For the 32's---you may get a little rubbing at full lock, but no biggie. Just don't get 05+ Tacoma or 03+ 4Runner rims, as they've got a 5.25" to 5.75" backspacing (depending on the model) and you'll most likely rub like crazy.
