I have a pretty good vibration at low speeds that i can feel through the gas pedal, and faintly through the steering wheel. It seems to fade away after about 45 mph.Springs and shocks are original and are on the short list to be replaced.Last weekend I changed the front diff oil, lubed the steering knuckles, slip joint, and the u joints.Next weekend i am going to do the rear.I know with 150,000 on me I would shake a little too, but i want to be certain I am doing the correct thing.I have not found a local shop yet so i am turning the wrenches for now.

Any advice?

If the tires are still fairly good, have them rotated and balanced. If that doesn't do it, check for warped brake rotors. If that still doesn't do it, then check wheel bearings, hub spindles, etc. I'll bet on the tires....

When you say "low speed"... how low is that?? If you feel it at very low speeds, below 20-25, I would be leaning toward something being bent/loose/broken... TRE's/wheel bearings/knuckle bearings/rotors. Mid speed... 25-50 only makes me think bushings, raduis arm/track bar. what does it do when you slam on the brakes. Does it track straight?? Can you feel anything through the brake pedal with light pressure?? What about pulling your e-brake to slow... any change???

All in all, with your description... it could be just about anything from your front tires to your flux capacitor.;)
