Any of you guys out there with 45's, lv's or lpb's (or 40's) running a stock 15" toyota rim. What tire size are you running?

Thanks, Matt

7.00x15's on a LPB. Sorry it's not a great pic. These were on my 40 when I bought it.

Did you do quite a bit of high speed driving with this? In high speed I mean 60 ish?

I got 265/85/16's with a 2" lift. They rub on the front end of thedrag link when I turn hard to the stop. They also rub the fender when fully stuffed.

What exciting restorations/rebuilds have been working on lately?

I run stock fj60 rims with 33x10.50 BFG AT on my HJ47 with stock suspension.

What's the width of a stock FJ60 rim? Reason I ask is that I am currently running 33 x 9.5's on stock FJ 40 rims on my lv. I believe that at higher speeds I am getting a little sidewall flex which seems to result in a little, "waddle". It's only a theory, but I have had someone driving behind me at highway speeds watching this and they also believe it was tire related. Just curious if anyone else has been down this road?

I am thinking of going to a 31 x 9.5 BF KO tire. Just getting a feel of the tire combo's out there.

How does that combo work at highway speeds? Solid?

As far as resto/rebuilds? Mmmmm, let's see.......well, the girl is 2 1/2 and the boy is 4 months. So as far as working on anything, does that answer your question? ;)

I have fj60 wheels with 33x9.5 bfg at tires on my 45. Ride is nice, no waddle. At least I don't think so.

My steering box is very sloppy so it's hard to tell if the tires have a lot of drift in them. They are also an aggressive tread (Big O bigfoot xt). But the odd trip on the highway always seems to go alright. I have them on my 94 4runner at the moment and produce a little shimmy. I would be surprised if they were in balance. They are noisy but seem to do OK at highway speeds, other than the very faint shimmy. I wouldn't recommend them for a DD or mostly highway truck, but size is good, very close to a 33x10.5.

So you have been working on a few "builds" :D:cheers:
