A neighbor has a Stihl chainsaw that was killed by using non-mixed gas. It is no running. I am wondering whether it is beyond repair or can be cleaned up somehow...
 
Not sure what damage was done, can't be good though. That is the only source of oil lubrication in the engine as far as I know. They are incredible chain saws though, among the best.

I hope to replace my Homelite with one someday.
 
How salvageable that particular saw is depends on severity of the seizure it experienced. D'Animal on here takes of pile of straight gassed saws and makes a few good ones out of them.
