I'm at my wits end with this blower. I've owned it for 4 years now, I've taken it to the shop 2x over the past year to get it started and now it starts but will not run high enough to engage the throttle and blow. I have no hammer to throw and the misses wants me to calm down...Any suggestions?

Correction: it is an 85.

Grab a beer and wait for D'Animal to show up. This is his bailiwick.

BTW.......I have a neighbor who's from Enumclaw. He goes back to visit frequently. How big is Enumclaw?

City is about 10k the area surrounding is close to 60k. 5 minutes from the mountains. Small town with small town values I guess...no need to lock your doors, low on crime and most have guns...kind of like the Andy Griffith Show just a little more modern.

My Stihl blower would bog down under throttle. Tracked it down the the spark arrestor on the muffler - it was complete clogged up with soot. Removed it and blower works fine now.

That is what the problem is here as well.

Grab a 15mm socket and unscrew the spark arrestor. Fire the unit up and hold it Wide Open Throttle for a little bit and then let it idle while you clean the carbon out of the screen.
