hey y'all,

so right now, i am planning on cleaning up my interior a little bit, i did that a little over a year, but now, i have to get some new seat covers since the seats are beginning to show their age, however, i added a steering wheel skin last year, however, i am debating on buying one of those after market steering wheels from eBay, but what do y'all think of the work i did on the wheel? is it worth the money, or should i wait until the skin falls off, also because i am on a budget lmfao. what do y'all think. this pic was taken about a week after i did it, and it still has held up REALLY well.

As someone who accidentally 'damaged' their wheel by giving it a clean (removing years of crap resulting in some rougher leather left behind), I explored the wheel cover route.

I've not done it yet (as it's hard to get the good kits over here), however there are steering wheel cover kits out there which are a tad more 'seamless' than the one pictured and cover the 4 'spokes' areas too on the steering wheel. I'm not in the US but I've seen references to lots of N.A folks buying the cover kits and getting a shop to fit it for pretty reasonable prices if it's out of your skillset.

I wont sugar coat it, but that steering wheel looks really horrible and makes the cruiser look clapped out. You can get those aftermarket steering wheels on ebay for like $200 and it takes but 10 minutes to install, very simple.
